    Terrible experience – poor service, no accountability

    I booked a large rental car through Holiday Autos to be picked up at Boston Airport and dropped off in New York City. As we were 4 people with 4 large suitcases, I specifically chose a big vehicle and paid a deposit of 574 DKK in advance.

    When we arrived to pick up the car, I was suddenly told it was not possible to return the vehicle in the city – only at the airport – due to it being a large car. This was never stated during booking. The counter staff refused to help, and I was left with no choice but to go with another company, costing me an additional 1000 DKK.

    I contacted Holiday Autos on July 9th to report the issue and request a refund. I was told a complaint would be filed and that I would hear back within 48 hours. Days went by – July 11th, July 13th – still nothing. On July 14th, I reached out again and was told, once more, that a case would be opened.

    Finally, on July 15th, I received an email stating that they would look into it – but that it could take up to 20 days. That is completely unacceptable for a service failure of this kind.

    I have clearly explained to their support team (including Moamen from the Customer Care Team) that I expect compensation for the 1000 DKK I had to pay extra due to their lack of transparency and poor customer service. I also asked to be contacted by a manager, but all I’ve received are empty apologies and delays.

    At this point, I’ve had enough. I'm extremely disappointed and feel completely let down. This is not how a professional company should treat its customers.
